FAQs

The ceremony will begin promptly at 6pm EST. This will be an adults-only ceremony. We kindly ask that no children attend. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early to ensure you're settled in before the ceremony begins.

What time does the reception start?

Cocktail hour will follow the ceremony and then the reception will begin at 8pm EST, immediately after cocktail hour.

Is there parking available?

Yes! Parking is available at the hall. There is free, ample parking available at the venue, so you can enjoy the celebration without any worries about parking!

What should I wear?

For the ceremony, we suggest that women wear a formal gown, or a lovely formal ensemble in shades of warmer fall tones or soft neutrals. Men should wear a suit or dress shirt with slacks in navy, champagne or black works wonderfully. If you're unsure of what to wear, you can always play it safe with a classic black suit or formal black gown—it’s always a timeless choice! Here are some attire options to help you embrace the traditional Nigerian/Ivorian wedding style at the reception: For women, a gorgeous traditional dress or aso ebi in vibrant colors such as gold, green or royal blue. Gele is optional but highly recommended for an extra touch of elegance and tradition. A blouse and wrapper combination or an Ankara dress is always a beautiful option. For men, buba and sokoto or agbada for a more formal look, typically in rich, bold colors like white, gold, navy, or burgundy. You can also wear Ankara prints or a traditional suit with vibrant accessories like a Fila to add a touch of cultural flair. For everyone, if you’re unsure, a stylish suit or dress in vibrant colors can also work, but traditional Nigerian/Ivorian attire adds a special touch to the celebration and helps everyone feel immersed in the culture.

Can I bring a plus one?

If you’ve received an invitation with a +1, you are welcome to bring a guest. Please ensure that you provide us with their name so we can add it to our seating chart. If you did not receive a +1, we ask that you please attend alone, as we are working with limited space.
